Introduction to Ukraine
Ukraine (Ukrainian: Україна, English: Ukraine), the capital of Kiev, is located in eastern Europe, on the northern shores of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. It borders Belarus in the north, Russia in the northeast, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary in the west, and Romania and Moldova in the south. Most of it has a temperate continental climate, the terrain is high in the north and low in the south, and it is rich in mineral resources.
