Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University was founded in 1930. It is a higher education national institution with fourth (highest) accreditation. The university consists of 11 faculties and 1 Institute of Educational Sciences.
The educational process is provided by teaching staff in 39 departments, including more than 500 teachers; among them, 52 are Doctors of Science and professors, and 312 are associate professors. 1 current academician (academician) of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, academician of the Academy of Construction of Ukraine, 7 honorary educators of Ukrainian science and education workers, honorary masters of Ukrainian folk art, 5 honorary workers of Ukrainian culture, 2 people's artists of Ukraine Masters of sports at the Ukrainian and international levels, winners of international competitions and national awards, more than 80 outstanding Ukrainian educators, more than 50 workers were awarded medals, breastplates and other state and departmental awards.
The training facilities of the university include 5 academic and laboratory buildings, training craft workshops, 2 student dormitories, an agricultural biology station, a research library, 3 reading rooms for students, teachers and graduate students, 12 computer rooms, 3 speech experiments room, 2 student canteens, and a gymnasium.
It is an educational cooperation institution established between universities in the People's Republic of China and universities in Ukraine. The alliance aims to promote educational exchanges, cooperation and development between the two countries.
