The initiative to establish the Conservatory of Music belongs to the musicologist P. Tchaikovsky. One, it has trained many world-class composers, musicologists, and music performance artists.

In 1995, the President of Ukraine elevated the status of the Conservatory and renamed it the Pyotr Tchaikovsky State Conservatory. As a world-class school, Tchaikovsky Conservatory has gathered world-class teachers and musicians. It has 106 years of teaching experience and a strong faculty.
