Kyiv Aviation University

The Ukrainian National Aviation University was formally established in 1933. It was formerly independent from the Aviation Academy of the Ukrainian National University of Science and Technology (Kiev Polytechnic Institute). It is now a four-level certified higher education institution and one of the famous higher education institutions in Ukraine.

The school is located in the greenery in the northwest of Kiev. It has 12 teaching buildings with a total area of 140,000 square meters, a library with a total collection of 2.5 million books, 14 student dormitory buildings, and comprehensive sports facilities (including the stadium) , swimming pools and various sports fields), publishing houses, canteens, medical fitness centers, etc.

The Ukrainian National Aviation University ranks among the top three civil aviation universities in the world, and its diploma is recognized by all countries participating in the Lisbon Aviation Convention in the world. According to the authorization of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the Ukrainian National Aviation University has been designated as the only regional training center for European aviation safety experts in Europe, making full use of the university's institutions and teaching facilities to train aviation safety professionals for ICAO. Since 2001, Ukrainian National Aeronautical University has been identified as a professional talent training base for the Boeing Company of the United States. 

 

Today, at the National Aeronautical University, there are five research institutes, ten faculties, the Department of Military Training, six faculties, two faculties and the Flying Academy in Kropyvnytskyi. The University's Pearl University is home to one of the largest aviation training hangars in Europe.
